Recently found is the Caron Chunky Cupcakes yarn. This yarn can back out for a limited time, and I missed it the first time. This branding is exclusive to Michaels if you are looking for it. You may find discontinued colours at Yarnspirations in the clearance section.

There are only 2 patterns for this yarn, and I didn't want to do either. So, I created a new pattern and knitted this bad boy up. This is the Caron Chunky Cupcakes Knit Hat Pattern.

The yarn is exquisite with a heathered hue to it. I loved making this hat, and the colours are as they come out of the ball.

Love your tutorial. Every step was clear. The addition tutorial on how to add the pom pom was amazing. I have been wanting to add a faux pom pom for ever.
